Hello, my name is Professor Maureen Greenbaum! -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I have been using computers since 1966 and teaching for over 30 years. I worked in the computer industry for 15 years, and when my now 30 year old son was 2, I quit to become a full time prof (I had taught MIS as an adjunct for a few years in the Fairleigh Dickenson Graduate School of Business right after receiving my MBA there). You can check out the dates and stuff on my resume or read some biographical stuff I wrote. I love computers. I am at a keyboard over 6 hours almost every day. I create web sites for charities and some for businesses that pay me. I love computers. I am at a keyboard over 6 hours almost every day. I create web sites for charities and some for businesses that pay me. I have been using computers since 1968 when I selected to take a course in computers becuase the text was titled The MAD primer. I thought it was about MAD magazine but it turned out to be Michigan Algorithmic Decoder, an early computer language. My entire family at "geeks." My husband Howard is a MIT engineer who worked for Bell Labs for most of his career. He is semi-retired and does magic, which is also a family hobby. Even though Howard and I have be using computers for a total of over 90years, our 2 sons constantly are teaching us stuff. #1 son is Adam, a Carnegie Mellon graduate who is into Internet delivery of content and #2 son, Noah, is a Freshman majoring in Biomedical Engineering at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore (a 2 hour trial ride). Both built their own computers before they were 13. "Heaven" is the week in the winter that my family spends in Grand Cayman where I get to swim with all the beautiful fish everyday day - I snorkel, not scuba. We like marine fish so much we keep some of them as "pets. I also have a 4 year old very smart Lhasa (that's the capital of Tibet) Apso (that is how you say dog in Tibetan)- see her do tricks
