use the UCC library or your local libary card at
AccessMyLibrary.com There are many Internet resources that are available to me because I am a UCC student. Many of these resources are provided by the UCC library, in person or
online. These resources include catalogs, DVD/VHS/audiobook collections, articles, research guides, search engines, directories, research assistance, and online forms. UCC databases online can be accessed by entering a UCC network username and password(CWID). But there are a few databases that can
only be accessed from UCC computers:
ACM Digital Library Computing Literature, Bloom’s Literary Reference Online, Curriculum Resource Center, Encyclopedia Britannica Online, Encyclopedia of Life Sciences, Ferguson’s Career Resource Center, Health Reference Center, History Search, Oxford English Dictionary, Personal & Business Forms, Science Online, ScienceDirect, Star Ledger Archive, World Atlas, and World News Digest.
Using library resources is very easy in person or online. It is very user-friendly. The UCC library web resources does not differ that much from other resources except for the looks. Everything is basically the same. When it comes to
Ask-a-Librarian and
Q-and-A NJ, Q-and-A NJ is more reliable because it is like a regular IM where there will be a response within minutes, and they are available 24/7. Unlike Ask-a-Librarian, it takes them about 2 days to reply, it is more like a regular e-mail. But overall, all of the Internet Library resources available are very helpful.

Online Students are encouraged to come to any of the session that they can. If they can't make it scheduled times, they should come to the library on any of the 3 UCC campuses and ask anyone at the reference desk to give them that talk - at least in an abbreviated way.
