Hi my name is Nicole Severini, I’m18 years old (19 in November) and am starting my first semester at UCC . I have only the vaguest idea what my major will be. I was originally an art major but decided to drop that last minute. I decided I rather keep it as a hobby that I can enjoy rather than work that may one day drive me insane.
One of my high school friends use to call me the DYI Queen (Do It Yourself). True that in my lazier moments ‘do it yourself’ is a common phrase out of my mouth it is not the source to this nickname. I got this little endearment due to the fact that, according to her, I knew how to do everything. I’d be the one who knew how to cook, organize & plan, art, build stuff, etc, etc. if I didn’t know how to do it I tended to have it figured out sooner or later. Was this true all the time? Oh no no no no , but according to her it happened often enough to bestow the name upon me. i definitely don't think i deserve it, heh.
I’m a bit of a nerd, no getting around what’s true and I’d never deny it. I love comic books, I collect both manga and regular American comics (the American ones go in plastic sleeves…. Yeah I’m THAT bad), I practice html, attend conventions, major bookworm, etc. I use to be really into video games as well but I didn’t have the time for a while then lost a lot of interest in that time, but I will play from time to time regardless. Another interest of mine is mythology and religion. Am I religious? No, I’m an atheist. But regardless it’s a fascinating topic.
Now I babbled enough of myself, I look forward to seeing how this semester goes.
